The Kremlin said on October 23 that the first tanker under the new Russian diesel import agreement had departed, AP reported. Russian officials described an initial shipment of 40,000 tons.
AP cited vessel intelligence firm Kpler as saying the ship was signaling a New York destination with an expected November 7 arrival. A vessel’s stated destination and expected arrival are provisional, not confirmation of delivery.
