Cargo vessel sinks near Romania after reported drone attack

Romanian authorities report one death and three missing crew members.

Romanian naval authorities said nine people were rescued after the cargo vessel Khoryv caught fire and sank near Constanța on October 23, AP reported. Officials said one crew member died and three remained missing.

AP described a drone attack on the Comoros-flagged ship. The report places it about 13 nautical miles east of Constanța. Search operations were continuing; responsibility should not be inferred solely from the location.
