The UK Covid-19 Inquiry published its sixth report on October 20, examining how the pandemic affected people receiving and providing adult social care in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The report covers residential care, professional care in people's homes and unpaid care. The government said the findings address protection measures, official decisions and the sector's ability to respond. Publication of the inquiry's findings does not itself establish that its recommendations have been implemented.
