Qualcomm plans to reduce its global workforce after annual employee reviews, Reuters reported on October 20, citing a memo sent to staff by Chief Executive Cristiano Amon.
According to the report, notifications were expected to begin in November. Reuters said the memo did not specify how many positions would be affected and the company had not immediately responded to its request for comment. The scale of the planned reductions remained unconfirmed.
